Another day day shooting with Steph. There's no need to explain in detail again how much fun I have staging and planning shoots with this girl. This actually wasn't even planned. It was just another rainy day, so we decided to just play around. I haven't shot her in over a couple months, so it was well past due time. We didn't have to travel far because her apartment complex has great aesthetic structure throughout all 10 floors and it's located in a beautiful area. So all of these shots were taking within the four blocks surrounding us.

I recently got a new camera kit and I've been testing it out over the last week, so here are some of the results from the camera and lens itself! I have to say, I'm in love with it! I was a little skeptical at first because there was a little bit of a learning curve, but I just had to remember that if I set the mood for the picture I have in my head and then set my aperture, shutter speed and ISO accordingly, the picture should appear! And so it did! The new lens that came with the kit has a focal length of 24-120 mm, which is great for every day shooting, portraits, and weddings. In other words, everything I shoot! Also now that I have a wider focal length, I'll be able to capture new ideas from a perspective way different from my previous images! I'm stoked to see the results and ideas that will spark for my upcoming shoots!
